Strap yourself in and enjoy the online fantasy
sports game!

Clusterball is a futuristic sports game designed to invoke the same adrenaline
rush as popular titles in the FPS genre. In a match, the aim is to collect
colored balls from magnetic tracks spread out in the venues and tow them through
a scoring ring using a fast and versatile aircraft. To interfere with opposing
pilots, the player can pick up various kinds of tactical equipment - like a
Superboost, Ball Snatcher or Tractor Beam. The unique effects of this equipment
can also be greatly enhanced by combining different items against a single
target. You score some, you lose some - but in this arena you will never run out
of options or fun!
Game-play combines elements of high-speed air racing with true dog fighting and
a great tactical challenge. Amazing 3D graphics and positional sound effects
together with very authentic physics create the perfect setting. The intense
matches take place in astonishing landscapes inspired by famous locations around
the globe.

What is Clusterball? It’s a sport. Clusterball is an online sport,
designed to invoke the same adrenaline rush as Quake and Unreal, but replacing
the splatter and gore with pure gameplay. By combining the feel and gaming
experience from ball, flight and racing games, Clusterball is totally unlike
anything you’ve ever seen before.

Free for All
Every man for himself, the player with the highest score after the final
whistle or the first player to reach a given score limit wins the match.
Two Teams
The regular team play consisting of two teams. Team colours are decided by
the first two players to enter the match, all other players will join each team
alternately in order to "even up" the competition. All individual
points scored during match are added to the team score. The team with the
highest total score after the final whistle or the team which reaches a given
score limit first wins the match.
Free Teams
A team play mode where up to eight teams (i.e. "free for all") can
participate, e.g. it's possible for 4 two-player teams to play each other.
Players with the same team color will join the same team. All individual points
scored are added to the team score. The team with the highest total score after
the final whistle or the team which reaches a given score limit first wins the
match.
Game Styles
You can choose between five different styles when playing Clusterball, the
styles differ in the amount and location of balls and equipment in the venues
and also their re-spawn times. The different styles are; Universal,
International, National, Regional and Local. Here is a brief description of each
style:
Universal
A lot of everything, resulting in a total chaos in eight player matches.
International
Clusterball in its most strict and classic style, this is the original.
National
A missile oriented style, in which your onboard computer most likely will
harass you with beeping sounds.
Regional
A dogfight style where nailing your competitors down to the ground with
pasta often seems to be more important than scoring points.
Local
A weird ball oriented style invented by a minority people in northern
Sweden. In this style it’s all about balls.
