Smart Home Manager offers a variety of tools to enable you and your family to better manage various aspects of your lives; from financial management to writing your personal daily journal.
The Accounts and Finances section offers complete financial management for every household. With ease, you can track income, expenses, banking accounts, investments, loans and budgeting for
ongoing and future needs. This section also offers a variety of financial calculators. Version 3.0 adds a Debt Consolidation screen to help you analyze the impact of consolidating your debts.
The Household Activities section is designed to help you better manage many important non-financial household activities from your personal address book, daily journal, warranty records, wine collection, family members medical records, a recipe book designed to better manage your favorite recipes and much more. You can also track and launch your favorite Internet Web-Sites directly from
SHM!
Never miss an appointment again! With SHMs integrated Calendaring and Scheduling module, you can create and view appointments and
to-do's by day, week or month. You can also automatically transfers payment reminders to your calendar from the financial module or transfer auto maintenance due dates from your household module. SHM Reminders will remind you of any appointments,
to-do's or bills that need to be paid upon running Windows and/or when running SHM.
An advance feature also allows you to create recurring schedules based on a variety of user options. SHM Calendar is easy to use and provides you with all the tools necessary to better manage your time.
A default SHM Account will be setup upon installation. Family members who have access (thru user login name and password) will be allowed to access the default family SHM Account. However, each individual family member can manage their own SHM Account with complete privacy. A family member who has a personal SHM account will have all rights to authorizing or preventing other users access to their account.
Now, parents will be able to offer their children a better way to manage their own financial
and home management needs simply by creating a SHM Account for each member of the family.
Most of the Household menu selections have a Smart Link feature. This feature allows you to link other Windows applications directly into SHM. For example, from your Recipe Book Screen, you will be able to link to a
Windows application to show a video clip on how to prepare a dish, or link a scanned picture of your best friend under the Address/Telephone Screen.
Acknowledging the importance of security, SHM is to provide access to its files through password protection. Each user accessing the system can be assigned to a particular SHM Account with a login name and password. Additional password protection is also available for your personal journal records.
SHM offers in excess of 180 reports and graphs. Each report has been carefully designed to meet your every reporting need. Simply click on the Report button and select the report or graph of your choice and let SHM do the rest!
Each family member has the ability to create a custom SHM Tool Bar for all of the areas that he/she frequently access. Upon login into SHM, you will be greeted with your personal SHM Tool Bar which includes your frequently used options. By using the SHM Tool Bar, you will be able to get to the options that you access most with ease and speed.
